Whether you have the urge to stroll the cobbled streets of Brighton seeking out the unique, sift through the unusual offerings of a Covent Garden flea market or spend days roaming shopping Centres the size of small towns, this category can set you on your way. High Streets are a feature of every town and shopping centres too; but the smaller shops, boutiques and outlets offer a different flavor well worth sampling.

The Victoria Centre

This large indoor mall is home to 120 shops and stores all under one roof, including anchor stores like John Lewis and House of Fraser, plus top High Street retailers such as Next and Boots. The centre also features food stalls, cafes, hairdressers and the popular Victoria Centre Market.

With over 80 stores, including Argos, Boots, Bhs and TK Maxx as its anchor store there's something for all the family at this indoor mall. Venture into the many independent stores for a browse. It even houses the entrance to the intriguing network of caves beneath the city centre.

The Exchange Arcade
From Formes clothes for pregnant women to Gauntleys tobacconist, the Exchange Arcade sits at the heart of the city and features many of the city's specialist and boutique retailers - plus the Nottingham Tourism Centre.

Hockley
From designer threads to dance music, black nail varnish and contemporary furniture - all this can be found in the unofficial 'Hockley Village', Nottingham's most voguish shopping quarter.
